When I first shadowed the St. Gabriel’s Hospice aides, I knew this was the hospice I wanted to work for. The entire team treats the patients, families, and facility staff with respect, dignity, and love. I have experienced many different hospices in Austin, but none provide the consistency or the attention that the patients and families deserve. This was the first hospice that claims to have small caseloads for their staff and actually holds to it. The support from the home office in Ft. Worth is unheard of, they truly want whatever is best for the patients and are eager to support the staff. Their mission, People Caring For People, is evident from their aides, all the way to the CEO. I am so blessed and proud to be part of this team and would unreservedly recommend St. Gabriel’s Hospice to anyone as a provider or an employer.
